State-of-the Art Facilities with Room to Grow

PVLSI is housed in a state-of-the-art biomedical research space designed to maximize scientific interaction among diverse researchers. Our 17,000 sq. ft facility is fully equipped and staffed for animal care, histology, cell culture, and molecular biology. The open floor plan enables sharing of capital equipment so that each team has cost effective access to a wide range of instrumentation while keeping teams in touch with other projects. Additional space has been reserved for future expansion.

Shared equipment includes:

  • FACScan
  • Confocal laser microscope
  • Whole animal in vivo imaging system
  • Real-time PCR
  • Robotics devices for conventional histology and immunohistochemistry
